I’m not the first to comment on the ridiculous RAM/SSD upgrade prices that Apple charges. You can see lots of charts online showing how RAM and SSD prices have plummeted over the years… except on Apple devices.

But no one seems to notice how much more egregious those prices really are after you consider Apple only lets its retailers sell the lower-end versions.
